Among the rocky cliffs of the island, the surviving part of the legendary Atlantis, in the existence of which many are sure, the gorge and the village of Masca are hiding somewhere in the northwestern Tenerife, keeping the legends about the treasures of pirates and smugglers who secretly hid their untold wealth in grottoes and caves among inaccessible rocks. Overcoming steep mountain paths of a unique relief formation with a length of 9 km, you will descend along the gorge directly to the ocean, the mere contemplation of which will take your breath away. From there, a small motorboat will pick you up and take you to the port, quick as the wind.

The road to Taganana passes through the Anaga mountain range. The drive along the narrow serpentine road and the spectacular views make a lasting impression. Teide is a stratovolcano with a peak height of 3,718 m. Its relative height from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean is 7,500 meters. It is the highest point in this ocean, as well as in all of Spain. In addition, Teide is the third largest volcano on Earth from the base (bottom), along with the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanos in Hawaii. It is the main attraction of the island of Tenerife and its symbol!
